5 Simple ways to improve your brand’s confidence
Confidence really can set people apart, if you lack confidence, you are most likely feeling overwhelmed, confused, and you probably think you’re not good enough. But let’s change that, this blog will walk you through our 5 simple ways we improve brand confidence so you will be able to confidently kick ass in the marketplace.
Confidence stems from the clarity you have in your brand, and a sure fire way to establish this is through ‘The Golden Circle’, a formula developed by Simon Sinek, watch his TED talk on it here.
1. Dig deep and know your why
Very few businesses know WHY they do what they do. If you didn’t watch the youtube video above, I recommend doing so now. The interesting thing about the WHY is that it’s not about making money, in fact that is the result. Knowing your WHY is understanding the purpose, cause or belief and is the very reason your business exists. Take some time to reflect, and get clear on what your why is.
2. Define how you do it
Successful brands are crystal clear on knowing HOW they do it, and rather than thinking of it in simple terms, powerful brands are capable in projecting their HOW with their unique selling point. What is it that makes your brand special or sets you apart from your competition? It’s important to know that what makes you different could be a belief or value, not necessarily a service you do differently.
3. Understand what value you offer
Every organisation on the planet knows WHAT they do. These are the products they sell or their services, but explore what value your service provides your dream customer, how you are benefiting their lives.
4. Define your dream customer
Being clear on your dream clients you want to attract fills you with confidence, the confidence that you know you are speaking to the right person. If you could work with anyone in the world who would it be? Is she/he a version of yourself? At what level is she/he when they come to work with you?
5. Brand messaging
Being able to clearly explain what it is you do will shoot your brand confidence through the roof. At your next networking event, rather than going on a long-winded explanation of what you do, be a straight shooter. Pull from the above tips and come up with your elevator pitch, in the least amount of words as possible, say what you do, even better if it’s short like a tagline.
It’s never too late to bring in brand clarity to your business, if you do it thoughtfully by keeping everything mentioned above in mind, you will have a strong, confident brand.
